Recent NewsBig news! Us & Them has been accepted to its first screening festival, the 16th Annual Long Island International Film Expo! The Expo is a prestigious festival right by where we filmed U&T, and we're honored to be a part of it! The film is screening as part of the 5PM block on July 23rd, 2013, at the Bellmore Movies cinema in Bellmore, NY!
Us & Them won an Accolade award from the
Honolulu Film Awards! Only a certain amount of submissions are selected for each category and tier, and we're incredibly honored to be one of the selections in the Student category. 
Us & Them also has won an Award of Excellence in the prestigious international (non-screening) film competition The Indie Fest! Awards of Excellence are very competitive with less than 15% of entrants receiving them. Congratulations everyone!

Upcoming & Past Screenings
The final cut will be premiering at Bellmore Movies in the 5PM block on July 23, 2013 as an official selection of the Long Island International Film Expo!
A preview of the rough cut of the film was shown at The Showroom in Asbury Park, NJ as part of the first annual Alpha Class Film Festival by invitation only on August 31st, 2012, to great reception. A panel Q&A session including the director and producer followed the screening.
A preview of 7 minutes of the film was screened for the end-of-year C.W. Post Film Festival on May 2nd, 2012.
Awards
The film was nominated for 6 Loomings Awards for the 7 minutes screened at the Post festival, including Best Film, Thesis; Best Director, Thesis (Carrie Ferrante); Best Actor, Thesis (Steve White); Best Actress, Thesis (Elizabeth Spano); Best Screenplay, Thesis (Carrie Ferrante); and Best Editing, Thesis (Carrie Ferrante). It went on to win 2 of these awards, Best Actress and Screenplay!
The film received an Award of Excellence from The Indie Fest, with particular distinction in the Women Filmmakers category.
Us & Them also received an Aloha Accolade from the Honolulu Film Awards!
