Galatea Films, and everyone we work with, is a collective that loves every aspect of film and takes extreme care in every part of the filmmaking process. We love what we do, and we hope you love the product. Our films have won numerous Loomings awards and have been featured in film festivals such as the NewFilmmakers NY festival this past September. We also won the Grand Prize for a comedic short of ours' in the History of Movies Film Festival sponsored by Pass the Popcorn this past December, which was voted on by the public in a bracket-style competition.
This film in particular is the Thesis of Carrie Ferrante, a departing 21-year-old senior, Honors student, and Film major at C.W. Post - Long Island University. A labor of love and an ambitious project that has been a fight to produce, we believe in creating art that shows a challenge met and conquered despite odds and difficulty. Our cast and crew is top-notch, and we hope we've created a story that showcases everyone's range of talents and amazing dedication to our project. Enjoy!
